Much more than it needed to be

If you could sum up The Dating Playbook For Men: A Proven 7 Step System To Go From Single To The Woman Of Your Dreams in three words, what would they be?

forget 3 word summaries. It was transformative! This book is amazing and it has something for everyone.
What shocked me the most was how much it improved my confidence before I even tried any of it. I began listening to it after a crappy breakup and within hours was like "f-yeah, I'm pumped to start bettering myself and showing the new me off to the world!" Seriously, I poured through this thing in less than a week and found myself doing many things I was previously scared to do. I don't care to relay all the details but before I even finished the book I got out there to practice the teachings and was rewarded with a lovely little success story!

I love how it begins by directing the focus at the reader's own life first and facilitating some self examination. Andrew does a wonderful job of exploring obstacles and self limitations in the readers own life and how those things have consequences when it comes to women. 4 main parts are:1.The grounded man: who is he? why do you need to be him?2.How to date: (what most people probably get his book for, but NOT as critical as part 1) the nitty gritty of approaching women, being engaging in conversation, getting a phone number, following up on it with texts, planning future dates, going on dates, going home with a girl, building a relationship3. Relationships. staying in the right one, leaving a bad one. building the right one up4 Mastery: how to use first 3 parts and knowing what level of competency you are at and what might be preventing you from reaching the next

Lastly, I really loved that this book was least cheesy/sleezy thing I ever read. I was worried about it being too much about "improving game." It isn't and stresses this. It's about being the best version of yourself and how to present this to others including women. It also explains such and such is what a woman is thinking/looking for even if she isn't aware of it, and this is what you need to do about it, and how you can do it in an authentic, genuine way, that won't leave you feeling slimy.

He sounds sincere. I believe him.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

comfort talking to women is an extension of basic social skills and the later should be solid before moving on to the former.

Any additional comments?

if it has a fault, it is at times he seems to be rattling off cliches. But those phrases only became cliche because they have been found to be true time and time again and bear repeating. Also they are peppered in appropriately. I.e. "Don't talk about it, be about it!" But like I said, what good motivational/self-help book doesn't stress the importance of implementing the contained knowledge?

Very helpful and enjoyable

I've found listening to this book a very positive experience in several ways. The content is real, informative and very motivational. This is by no means a 'get results quick' fad, but a comprehensive guide to personal growth with particular focuss on improving one's love-life. Ferebee is not just teaching you how to get dates, he's trying to help you improve as a person by developing your social skills and internal mindset.

The author's narration is not 100% professional and there are a few stutters and repeat lines here and there, but overall Ferebee's delivery is solid and his tone genuine. There's a goodly amount of self-promotion at the end of sections as well, but if you take that as an inevitable byproduct of the work then it isn't at all jarring to hear.

Overall this is a great listen, even if just for helping build personal motivation and self-confidence. Ferebee's wisdom on dating and relationships is also very impressive, but the stellar job he does in promoting it as a part of general self-improvement is the real selling point here.

real good book & info. doesn't drive at all into specific issues (introversion, etc.). if you're already outgoing with few issues with being uncomfortable then it's perfect
