Persistence will get you anything

I think this story and character proves that if you are persistent in your goals nothing will get in your way. I believe its a good continuation of the previous book that will make the listener look forward to the next book in series. I think if there was one issue I have with this story it is the possible relationship she has with another female character. It is because the main character might be doing this because she was violently raped, the writer makes a point that the main character can barely stand the touch of a man. If this part of the story is to be genuine regarding her possible love for this female character, then I hope the writer will resolve the main character's issues with men.

One tough cookie!

I loved this book! I think what drew me in most was just how absolutely strong and amazing our young heroine is! Illana is a character you immediately fall for and can't stop listening to find out what's going to happen to her next! I love the setting of this story, and the detail in which the author gives on the locations. The flow and pace of the story is excellent and the reader/listener is never left wanting. The action and sense of adventure in this book is unreal, and has you on the edge of your seat! I would absolutely recommend!

Fighting for freedom. Or die trying.

Trying to earn her freedom of the one place she can’t stand for the sake of herself and her son. Many hardships, a lot of betrayal and so many trying times try to break her. But she always seems to be quick on her feet.
There was a lot of backstabbing but cunning young woman found herself with the best opportunity she could imagine to buy her freedom from the guild. Can she do it? Read on and find out.

Another Excellent Installment!

Author Andy Peloquin gifts us with another installment of the Queen of Thieves series. Wanting nothing more than to leave the Night Guild and become free at last, Alana sets out on her most daring caper of all. Well written, and a beautifully narrated by Rebecca McKernan.

Narrating is great, not only Alana but other characters are done well. Great set up for the following series

The story and performance are good but the audio sounds like it was recorded in a large room with an echo impacting the recording.

A fantastic story, I experienced an intense rollecoaster of emotions along with the main character, at times exciting, suspenseful dreadful and painful. Brilliantly written, unpredictable and riviting!

Very interesting well written story. Really had a hard time stopping once I got started. Narrator was a perfect choice for the story as well.
