It is utterly unique, constantly surprising, genuinely unsettling, and a towering work of speculative fiction that may very well take its place among the best sci-fi novels of the century so far.

Compulsively readable and breathtakingly inventive...this jaw-dropping mind-bender is about as unmissable as sci-fi/fantasy novels get.

No exaggeration, this is the most imaginative novel I have ever read. It's compulsively readable and exquisitely mind-blowing from the first paragraph to the last. I enjoyed every word. Highest possible recommendation.

A stone cold cosmic horror classic about a department trying to combat anomalous beings whose very nature makes them impossible to see or remember encountering. An incredible read.

Sometimes I lost track of the plot and timelines. It needs all your attention to keep track. Otherwise, it slips away. (Class Z amnestics recommended for this one 🙃) And there is no Antimemetics division.

Difficult, but interesting

Compelling, a bit scary and creepy, gripping, hard to comprehend..
This book gave me a lot of emotions. It wasn't an easy listen (I couldn't do chores while listening, as I usually do) and I still think I didn't understand a lot of what happened, but damn I liked it :D
The monotonous enumeration of the entities, "redacted" parts with their creepy sounds - it all made a perfect wibe for the UNKNOWN.

Great naration and a amazingly interesting listen. I love the ideas in this.
If you ever liked a bit of weird mythos this is for you.

It listens like it was written for Audiobook format

The story, characters are all great, it was my first horror book and I enjoyed it tremendously. However, what stood out the most to me is just how good the performance was.
