KB Wagers just keeps getting better, at the writing, the stories, and off course, their wonderful characters. Angele seems to have changed a coke of the characters voices a bit, but not enough to distract. So well done! Thank you both

While the book is mostly focused on the political intrigue involved in running an empire and the bureaucracy around it, I never once felt bored. I never once felt not engaged. Incredible work by Ms. Masters as usual!
