Storytelling At Its Best

Reginald Hill tells a grest story. The many voices expertly done by Jonathan Keebler are perfect.

A ride that made me think.

It took me a while to get all the cast of characters straight in my head, but once that was accomplished, I loved the book. The story was never boring and seemed to build and build as deception, fraud, greed, murder and revenge played out their parts. The ending was a nice surprise as I didn't see it coming. (love that)

keeps you driving

I listen to 3 or 4 books a week as I drive for work. This book had me driving aimlessly as it came to a magnificent end. I would give it 10 stars for plot and narration.

Wolf is incredible. Just a great character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

To many to name.

Any additional comments?

I revisited this after some time and had to change my star rating. It is a great book with deep rich characters and a story that kept me listening and left me wanting more.

A must read

It is one of the best books that was read to me. The narrator was great. Would highly recommend getting this.
