Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was where Michael saved the day and stopped the cop from trying to rape Melissa.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book made me cry in frustration at the choice made by the main female character Melissa. It was obvious that the home was haunted but she wanted to know more about her family. Ugh

Should have been shorter

The first thirteen chapters could have been dropped or rather consolidate to three or less. Way too blotted with stupid will they won't they trop. Way too many romance authors rely this for "tension" building. It's so annoying. I was really hopeful for this book for all the praise is seems to have. It's not a bad book by all means, just not my cup of tea.

Not for me....

I rarely review, but I have to say this book was a little disturbing. The development was way to fast and then it just got dark.

I really tried

I really did give it a good try. I have 2 hours left in this book and just don't care enough to finish the book. The narration of this book is just boring. There were some very exciting things happening, but the scene did not come to life with the monotone narration. The story is a little rough. I was ok with Michael and Melissa's relationship till the end of the book.

Not scary, not a love story either

It just never goes any where, no real love story, no real horror story, a lot of sex ( which makes no difference to me but thought others might want to know)

Pleasantly surprised

I've gotten pretty burned out on paranormal stories, but this one was a bit different, and I enjoyed listening to it! I would recommend giving it a listen. I received a copy of the audio
book free of charge from the author in exchange for an honest review, and am happy that I can give a good one! Narrator did a good job, as well.

Really wanted to like it but...

I do not normally write reviews, however, this is the first book I was unable to finish listening to. I really liked the backstory that slowly...and I mean...slowly was developing. The characters were not well developed and I found myself, several times, wondering if this was actually the first book of a series or if I had missed something. I was listening to it as part of my extra package but I would not use any credits for it.

Great narrator

I got this book via audiobook boom. The best thing I can say about this book is that the narrator took what would have been a dull book and turned it into something exciting and wonderful. I did expect more of the haunted house stuff but got romance and love scenes. The two fell in love so fast that I thought I missed something but that was not the case. They meet and developed a relationship with nothing in between. I expected a little more depth to the building of the relationship especially for how long the book was.
