Publisher's Summary

Their worst nightmares lurk in the darkness...

The offspring of four cursed families risked everything to defeat the nightmare that haunts their bloodlines. But when an eerie melody chimes through the trees, they know the Bell Witch has returned. Her harvest of souls has begun, and they are running out of time.

Vowing to put an end to the evil presence, the four survivors venture into a network of caves. They descend deeper into the dark, flooded tunnels, only to find demonic spirits tormenting them with nightmarish visions of the past - bitter secrets their families have fought hard to keep buried.

As the frigid water begins to rise, the survivors are confronted with the most horrific terror of all. They soon realize that the only way to get out of there alive is for one of them to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Will they survive? Or will they drown in the shadowy depths of the witch’s cave?

… unfortunate but I still keep coming back

The odd thing about this series is that I keep purchasing the audible books. However, that being said I feel like the books could literally be 4 to 5 hours long of more description. What I mean to say is, she uses descriptive words… like the adjectives are really good however the places they go or the scenarios that happen are not very well developed so you will find yourself confused a lot. For example in the witch cave they’re on a ledge and then it says the walls of the room and and then all of a sudden there’s hands coming out of the floor but how they tie all that together is really confusing so I would have to rewind it and re-listen to it.

If the author is reading my reviews, I hope that you will take to heart that there needs more time spent on giving us a visual idea of what we’re looking at so I feel like you see it in your head but you relinquish what you’re seeing in your head to us is falling flat.

When it’s all said and done the storyline or the plot, what it’s about m, what the story is actually about… The witch and the struggles of these families to have to fight the witch and all that… the basic plot it’s quite good I just feel like I’m wanting more and I feel like I’m missing some thing.

Love this Series!

Yet another Awesome addition to Sara Clancy's Bell Witch Series. The storyline, character development, and pace make it a wonderful read. I was so caught up while reading this book that before I knew it, I had pulled an all night reading session because I just HAD to know what happened next. Having the Audible copy as well as the ebook, the orator (John Pirhalla) did an excellent job bringing it to life. Definitely a must read (listen to). 😉

I enjoyed this entire Series so much that I own it in several formats (book, ebook, and Audible), Being able to listen while re-reading this book adds to one's enjoyment of it, I Love being able to keep going while doing dishes, making dinner, or driving the car. Highly Recommended!

Great Horror story

This is book number three in the series but could be a stand alone but wouldn't be as good without the character building. Sara builds her books on one another. You have torture, death. So much action with twists and turns along with shear horror. I highly recommend this book.

Excellent!

This is the third book of this series. It’s the conclusion the the series (or is it). The story grabs you attention from the beginning and it continues all the way to the end. I highly recommend it.

I received this book free for an honest review.

Really awesome book!

If you like evil witches, fire, violence, blood, and friendship, this book is for you! Like the two previous books, this one had me holding on for dear life! When evil witches and insanity are involved, it always makes for a great book! Add in some violence, gore, and even more insanity, and it makes for a really awesome book! This book is a really awesome book!

Great Witch Story

I love all of the characters and this series with witches, demon and monsters one of the best witch stories you can listen too but listen first to books 1&2. It almost Harvest Time as Basheba, Buck, Cadwyn, Ozzie and Mina prepare for deep waters in the Witch’s Cave and again attempt to destroy Katrina. Jeremiah (Jerry), Mina’s brother is a main character in the book as well as Whitney (a witch). All of the families’ members are weird except Ozzie’s turn out to be cool with the situations and Uncle Isaac got what he deserved. Cannot wait for next book Spring Slaughter on audible.

Great series

I am loving this series! The story is great, the characters are in-depth and with each book you learn a little more about ‘the Bell Witch’ and all the history that goes into it. In this book we see the group continue to try to put an end to the yearly ‘harvest’ unfortunately there are a few people in town who do not agree that there should be any meddling with the status quo. John Pirhalla does a fantastic job narrating! I would definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series to anyone interested in a somewhat non traditional ghost story.
