Story
How do we as individuals and organizations survive amid tremendous change? Why are efforts to improve falling so short in real results, despite the millions of dollars in time, capital, and human effort being spent? How do we unleash creativity, talent, and energy in the midst of pressure? Is it realistic to believe that balance among personal, family, and professional life is possible? Stephen R. Covey demonstrates that the answer to these and other dilemmas is Principle-Centered Leadership, a long-term, inside-out approach to developing people and organizations.

Stephen R. Covey believed there were only two ways to live: a life of primary greatness or a life of secondary greatness. Through his classic books and seminars, he taught that the intrinsic rewards of primary greatness - integrity, responsibility, and meaningful contribution - far outweighed the superficial rewards of secondary greatness - money, popularity, and the self-absorbed, pleasure-ridden life that some people consider "success".

The Best from the Best!
Would you consider the audio edition of The Wisdom and Teachings of Stephen R. Covey to be better than the print version?
I bet the written version in great but nothing is better then hearing the voice of the master himself. Stephen Covey is a man with such a voice that shows his loving spirit. He can get from point a to point b and yet make you feel like you are appreciated and part of his inner circle.
Any additional comments?
Listen to this great book, then listen to it again with a pen and paper. Daily look at these stories and phrases of wisdom.

A Great Book!
Wasn't sure what to expect, as I had read Covey in the past and thought that it might be a little dry for an audio book. It was the exact opposite. A well put together summary and quotes of his best work and resonates with his "Eighth Habit" teachings.

Great summary or introduction to Covey's work
What did you love best about The Wisdom and Teachings of Stephen R. Covey?
This is a good summary of Stephen's work, for those who are familiar with his work, i.e. a cliff notes. If you have not been exposed to his works, its a great introduction, a way to encourage you become more familiar.
What aspect of Jesse Boggs’s performance would you have changed?
I would have preferred Stephen Covey, from previous audio recordings. But since that was not possible, Jesse does a good job.

Disappointing
The principles are sound, and nicely sum up Dr. Covey's key philosophies. But, it doesn't work well as an audio.
