The Cuteness!!!

These books are targeted to children and children like consistency. I was surprised to see that with the second book the author decided to narrate the book herself. In my experience this has not often led to the best results for the reader. Thankfully, in this case that is completely incorrect. I don’t want to give it away, but Ms. Hoopes does a great job narrating the book and she isn’t really alone. When you hear it and realize what she did, you will smile too. It is adorable and I just love it!

The story was great of course as well. I love that each child has their own power with the stone and the ability to help inside the story. I love that the children learn more about reading and the time frame of the setting and I am putting my faith in Ms. Hoopes that the facts are true since the books is targeted to children.

I certainly recommend this series for young and old alike. Make sure you listen closely to the narration on this one for a sweet and heartfelt surprise.

I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.

Even Better Than the First!

This was an amazing addition to an already fantastic series! What stood out in this installment was the message of trust in siblings. I loved how Spenser allows his younger siblings to contribute ideas and how the younger siblings prove they are up to the task, even though they are younger.

I rarely like when narrartours change in the middle of a series. However, with this story, I think that was a perfect idea. I love Lorana Hoopes voice and how she incorporates her kids as narrators for various characters.

I received a copy of this audiobook at my request, and I have voluntarily left this review.

Good Read

Dragon Dilemma (The Wishing Stone #2) was another good quick read by Lorana Hoopes. Spencer travels to Medieval time with his brother and sister. They are at King Egeus' Castle and come across a dragon that is scaring the villagers. This was another great read about Spencer's travels to the past. I can't wait to read more by Lorana Hoopes.

The magic stone

I love was sorry and that Lorana read the story herself and was able to do all the different voices. The story is good for both adults and children. Love how each child had a different abilities when holding the stone.
