History does not have to repeat itself.

This book broke my heart. The story of the Colonel and Ada Mae was heartbreaking and eye opening. The history lesson was fantastic and enlightening. The characters were vivid and the brought to live very well by the actor. For one person to voice so many and so well was great. Tessa needed to be b**ch slapped more than once. So looking forward to the next book.
