Great story... Production and editing not great for headphones

Loved the complex story and its insight into a possible future for the Colorado River valley states. The editing on this really was poor in the last third but the narrator was excellent

I live in Southern California and this seems like a realistic situation that could happen. Very interesting and would probably make a good movie.

A lot of fun

I love dystopia stories and this one took an interesting approach with the shortage of water. This was enjoyable with interesting characters. Interesting concept

I thoroughly enjoyed the unique concept presented by the author. I believe it's possible we may have water wars somewhere in our future and this author's idea of the corruption and power involved makes for a very entertaining story.

A dark and all too plausible future

This book kept my earbuds in for a couple days. Great writing, compelling story and complex characters.

Pretty scary, especially considering recent weather events, floods, fire, and drought. All too easy too see the refugee crisis that would result from losing the gulf coast and southwest.

Action, Romance thriller with a twist!

This book gave me mega anxiety and new awareness about water. How much I consume and how much I’m wasting, which isn’t entirely a bad thing but it stuck with me.
Unfortunately it wasn’t my favorite because of our hero’s invincibility, a strange and slightly awkward sex scene that made me remember the author is male, and the lack of backstory to explain how we suddenly got into this almost apocalyptic state without everyday citizens having no clue what was going on.
I could easily see this being an action movie.
I guess it was a “fun summer read”.

really good story, if you can ignore the narrator

this is a very entertaining story, and overall I enjoyed it. However the narrator made me flinch with her muddled pronounciation. She left out consonants in the middle of words even while reading the credits. The word written became ridden. Who ever oversaw this production did not do their job.

Another intriguing novel about our possible future, filled with great writing, depth of character, and suspense.

Very entertaining

Love this author. He is great a creating believe able variations of the future of our earth. I hope they don’t come true though.
