A Mystical and Poetic Journey
Lovely story of man living in balance with nature. Part parable, part fable and part myth. Charming and thought provoking. Perfect narration, although I did up the speed to 1.2 as I do with many listens.

A beautiful apocalyptic story
The girl and her father live in a world devoid of humans. It is a beautifully evoked story of hope and strength in adversity. Highly recommended.

Reader does no justice to the writing.
I very much enjoyed the story, but the reader was not the best fit for it in my opinion. Too many long pauses and his voice and manner just didn't match the story.

Interconnectedness of all life
Imagine only two people left on the planet -- it's the time after people. What would the relationship be between animals and humans. A fable, beautifully told- mysterious, haunting, and thought provoking. A story of survival. Note- many realistic scenes of hunting and fishing animals. The tone of this story is perfect.
