Time will say this is the best series of books of all time

The Warp Clock may be the best of all the books so far in this a Time Travel Adventures. Such originality in each story never before written and this is the best thought through saga. Facing obstacles with all odds against surviving, saving the world in unconventional ways, protecting the family, making new relationships, and ending some too. If you are not reading this book and the books before it, you are missing out. The audible book is amazing as the storyteller sucks you in at hello. Just excellence. Might be my favorite books of all the many books I've read or listened to. Can't wait for more. Hope it never stops. Highly recommend as you can tell.

wow!

I had read and loved this book and wasn't certain if the redo as an audible book would keep my attention. It was fantastic! I believe the narrator gave an extra oomph to the great story line. My criteria for a good audio book is my looking forward to hearing it as I drive...this book was so good the second time around that I almost tried to find ways to prolong my drive!

Loved it!

This series is one of my all time favorites! When I saw there was a fourth book, I didn’t hesitate. These books are time travel done right. I wish I could find anything similar that is this great. I’ll keep looking and maybe there will be a book five.

Amazing... EPIC! Please don’t change a thing!

I have purchased every book in this series and let me tell you this is the best book series around! I throughly enjoy listening to Ben’s time traveling adventures and when I hit listen I cannot put it down. The stories are gripping, fun, frightening, adventurous, and full of suspense and hope (it’s a MUST READ). Before this book I was a little hesitant about Mim’s character (Ben’s girlfriend), she came off very clingy and hard on a guy like him, which seemed out of character for a guy like Ben to tolerate. But after listening to “The Wrap Clock” I finally understand Mim and why she had so many strange hang ups and stressed out so much, although she could have communicated this to Ben a bit earlier in their adventures lol. Anyway, now I love all the characters, but none more than Ben and Carson. Please Nathan (coming from a huge fan here) don’t change anything about Ben or who the main character is in the next books... the series is perfect already sir. I’m really hoping for another Chronothon story, but set in the future and featuring a team up between Ben and Carson’s team of Bounty Hunters, how awesome would that be! I would love to hear Nathan’s take on future tech and that world, also maybe back to the 80’s and even 90’s (GRUNGE!). Can’t wait for book 5, keep up the amazing work Nathan, you’re a great writer. OS: Loved the new family Ben has and hoping he gets a son too!

Over-the-top, non-stop action

In The Warp Clock, Ben Travers teams with his future daughter or the daughter of another Ben on an alternate time stream to save some version of himself. Moving from one undocumented time stream to another battling long odds of survival with miraculous saves and luck. Each doorway takes them from the frying pan into the fire. Ben’s daughter does as much to save them as Ben does. At the end, I was still unclear who had been saved, and by whom.

Keeps your head spinning

This installment dealt with more encounters in different Time streams & more than once, I had to pause to think about who was who (or when was when,) but as always, Van Coops spins a great tale filled with unexpected twists & turns that will keep you listening to the very end.

So happy to return to this series!

4.5★ Audiobook⎮ I literally gasped with excitement when Narrator Neil Hellegers emailed me about reviewing The Warp Clock. That wouldn’t have been a big deal, except for the fact that I was sitting in the middle of a movie theater when I received the email! I have reviewed all three previous installments of this time travel series, so I was eager to hear that there would be a fourth. I heard the third installment under the impression that it would be the finale to a trilogy, so there were multiple levels to my excitement. That excitement then doubled upon reading the synopsis for The Warp Clock. I mean, who doesn’t jump for joy at the prospect of their OTP having offspring?! Throw in time travel and this was bound to be fun. As I’ve said before, “fun” is the perfect word for this series. It’s brimming with Van Coops’ trademark wit and humor. His is one of the most unique takes on time travel theory that I’ve heard, yet it still manages to not take itself too seriously. I’ll admit, the science sometimes makes my head spin with all the multiple times streams and whatnot, but Nathan Van Coops writes with such an ease of manner that the narrative itself is easy to follow. That’s what counts here. The Warp Clock definitely isn’t hard science fiction, so no PhD’s are necessary to listen. The book does it take itself too seriously, so the listener shouldn’t either. It’s a hoot, so just enjoy the ride. With that said, I strongly recommend hearing the first three installments in order before this one in order to fully appreciate the set up. Hearing the first three allowed me to become invested in the characters. The Warp Clock played into my fantasies for these characters so much that it almost seemed like fan service, not that there’s anything wrong with that, mind you. The plot seemed a little less structured than what I’m used to hearing from Van Coops. There was a lot of jumping around, reminiscent of The Chronathon. This wasn’t my favorite installment in this series, but perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I had heard it immediately after the previous installment. If you have the chance to hear all four volumes in succession, I recommend binging them. Honestly, I’m tempted to go back to the beginning and re-listen to the entire series just for kicks. Narration review: These are the only audiobooks I’ve heard from Neil Hellegers, so he’s pretty much synonymous with Ben Travers to me. If we spoke on the phone, I’m pretty sure it would throw me for a loop, subconsciously trying to separate him from the character. Returning to this series and hearing Hellegers’ voice again was incredibly comforting. I was instantly flooded with all of the warm, fuzzy feelings I accumulated while hearing the past three installments. It was sort of like flipping through an audio photo album full of cozy feelings. I’m glad he’s still around narrating the series. If another narrator had taken over, I would have been devastated. ♣︎ ➜ This audiobook was graciously gifted to me by its narrator, Neil Hellegers, in exchange for a review containing my honest thoughts and opinions. Thanks, Neil!

Couldn't give it a 5 like I would like to

Couldn't give it a 5 like I would like to for one particular reason that I can't go into without spoiling some of the story. Let's just say I don't like what happened to the original Ben. It's still worth reading, especially if you've enjoyed the other books, it's just that I was left feeling a little sad about what happened to the original Ben.

As excellent as the 3 previous ones

You will find it this time more focused on action rather than time jumps, but equally exciting
