Told with care for detail and great respect for Minkallo and her life’s story. At times the story got bogged down in the details. Her resilience and wisdom through hard times was amazing. This was such a wonderful book! It's heart breaking but spirit building! One women's hard work, faith, and incredible love for her family! The cover picture captured my attention and I loved listening to it all the way through. My own gpa was adopted in 1929. Makes me think of the sacrifices his own birth mother made for him;)
