This was an amazing retelling of Corrie tenbooms story. There was a lot of history added and intertwined with other people who lived through WW2 in holland.

A familiar story with more details that still inspires

I loved the Hiding Place, and feel like I have heard much of this story. And yet, the author has added many additional details. I listened all in one day and found myself inspired, heartbroken by the atrocities committed during the war, and encouraged by how this amazing family managed through it all. I often fall asleep to books, but this one has me going back to make sure I hadn’t missed anything.

This telling of a familiar story includes details that challenge my thinking as well as how I view myself and others.

A must read. A book for all time.

A wonderful book of sincere faith and conviction. With a humble spirit, and sacrifice, Corrie truly lived her faith and helped so many.
