Amazing Author

Lori wick does a fantastic job of writing these books. She is one of my favorite authors. Her stories are just amazing. I have read/listened to all of her books several times and never get tired of them.

My Old Friends

I love the English Garden Series. They are my old friends. When I’m in a slump, I pick these up and re read. This is my first time listening to them and I love the narration. The Visitor has fun characters and appearances from the previous books.

Just love these and being able to hear about all the characters from the other books and seeing where their lives are. and that I can read them with my daughter

Enjoyable

Nice to have some scripture in a story. Romance without the smut. Thought provoking on how to relate to people and to God.

Pomp and Circumstance

A story of customs and past times of seventeenth century England, this work reminds me of those of Jane Austen.
We focus on characters and their relationships during a “proper” culture. God’s word is prevalent throughout.
I loved the narrator’s lovely accent!
If you are searching for suspense, this novel is not a choice. However, if you desire a step back to a less complicated time, you will enjoy this novel.

Nice book

I enjoyed the storyline and, having read the other books in the series notes the characters were consistently interconnected. The only issue for me, was the voice the narrator chose for Cassandra. She seemed to not be able to sustain the timbre and I found it distracting.
