Horrible /beware of triggers

I would give this a zero if I could. The adult characters had no redeeming qualities and all but one child character made me cringe.

The plot also drags. You can absolutely skip from chapter 5 to 75. The main character spends all these chapters accusing her friends of having an affair with her husband, and never asking any of them out right.

The trigger is child/ sibling death. RUN if this is a trigger for you.

I had no trouble getting into this book and was really enjoying it. I thought the ending was well done and I like the way it tied everything together. But with all that being said my problem with this book was it is so DRAWN OUT !!! ! So many times it seemed like conversations were thrown in just for filler. But what do I know ? it must be hard to write one of these books. I’m just a reader who literally jumped a head more than once just to get to the point !!!!!!

Really Good!

NO SPOILERS! I have listened to hundreds of thrillers and many are all the same, especially domestic thrillers. This one however was full of twists. It has a slow build that will have you guessing as the tension mounts!!!

I’m definitely listening to more from this author.

Edge of your seat

This is another knock it out of the park thriller by TM logan! It was amazing! You will not be able to put it down! I have not been disappointed by Logan’s books!

Predictable, silly & repetitive

I had to double check this wasn't a YA novel. The plot and writing is completely predictable and cheesy. Several repetitive sentences and descriptions. It reminds me of Sweet Valley High books that I enjoyed as a child so I think maybe a younger audience might enjoy it. The many voices of the reader gets really annoying. I didn't finish it.

Truly boring book about horrible people. On the other hand, excellent examples of typical female friendship. Nothing about the beautiful setting could redeem this book. Waste of life.

Save your money/credit/time!

I had thought by the average rating that there must be a reason so many people enjoyed this story. At the very least, I expected it to be at least "OK." How very wrong I was. I now understand what people mean when they complain about not liking any of the characters.
The main character is so ridiculously over the top with her assumptions. And THEN, out of the blue, she all of a sudden becomes a female Sherlock Holmes solving the case. It is ABSURD. She is so narcissistic (along with every character minus one child-I believe another poster mentioned the same), delusional, overreactive and socially ignorant. I couldn't finish the story. Had 30 minutes left and threw in the towel. I skipped forward to the end just to be able to leave a review to warn those who have tons of psychological thrillers under their belt. Maybe it is a decent starter novel, but for those who have read some amazing PT books already, don't waste your time.

good lord, where do I start?? this woman is ridiculous. she's supposed to be a detective? ugh. I made myself finish it, but it was hard.

This was a gripping page turner!

Narrator was superb. Found myself reacting rather physically (tensing up at times; goosebumps now and then) at many points in this story. Twists, turns and surprises everywhere.

Great summer listen!!!

I loved this book! It was a perfect summer book and exactly the kind of escape I needed. The narration was spot on. The story kept me engaged the entire time!
