Great book but....

The book is great and the narration is really well done, but the downloadable content cannot be accessed via the link provided in the audiobook so It comes off as unfinished.

This is an awesome and practical book for me at this stage of my life. I love the simplicity and authors' insight into how to make an idea successful. I even repeated listened to several of the chapters.

Excellent for founders

This is one of the best books about starting a business I’ve ever read. I really like how they separated the book into three parts with the last one covering basically step by step tactics.

I was captivated from the beginning to the very end. A super eye opener. I feel empowered already!! Got to hear about this book from Ali Abdaal and I really enjoyed every bit of it. The narration was also top notch. Kudos to the authors and team.

A good framework for figuring out what makes you different.

I recently finished this book as I’m taking a fresh look at my strengths, weaknesses and resources. I found the MILES framework strikes the right balance between simplicity and utility. I skipped the last two parts on entrepreneurship and fundraising as they didn’t apply to me and I’m not sure they belong in this book at all. But that’s far from a fatal flaw.

Refreshing view on business and success

I pre-ordered this book after seeing it recommended on a YouTube video I happened to see and I was pleasantly surprised. The authors dive into the myth that success is either all luck or all hard work, it’s actually a combination of both and based on unfair advantages we all have. Life isn’t fair and that’s how reality works, so accepting the fact and utilizing your strengths is definitely good advice. I loved the stories of various entrepreneurs and how they utilized their unfair advantages. That being said this book is geared towards startup founders but can be applied in many other areas of life.
