AN ABSOLUTE MUST-READ/LISTEN!!!

What an incredible collection of stories woven together by some of the greatest known thriller authors around and narrated by some of the best narrators. My absolute favorite author is Karen Slaughter, along with her go-to narrator, the incredible Kathleen Early. Each short was really great in its own right, but the totality of the entire work is an absolute must-read or listen.

Fun Read!

I was sure I was going to like this but it has been a fun read! Great to experience authors I hadn’t read before! Loved the connections and stories!

The way it was all tied together

I like the whole thing. I think it’s stupid. You have a 15 word minimum.

This book kept me engaged by making me want to see how each story fit together.

Captivating!

This audible really pulled me in. I listened to it while running and managed to run 1.5kms more than usual because I was so absorbed in the stories I was listening to each time! Very captivating storyline.

Trust and turns

You nailed it, I had to set my alarm an hour early all week, so I could listen to this book.

Layers of fiction/ reality

I’m revealing too much if I write about what bothered me. So I don’t. Almost have to read other reviews to see if anyone else thought the same.

Intriguing

I liked how all of the stories involved the book club. I wish Maggie would have paid for her part in the murders she committed though.

Very Twisted!

Many short stories written by different mystery writers that center, more or less, on one monthly book club event on Cape Cod. Well narrated and great stories with an eye on murder. Or murders. Couldn’t stop listening.
