Big fan of Michael’s

I love Michael Lesley style of narration, so that’s what brought me to the book. I’m so glad it did, this was such a great book and I love the authors style and humor. Will be looking for more projects done by them

A Cute Christmas Story

I had read this book (a couple of times it turns out!), but I really liked the audio version more than I thought I would. Initially I thought the pacing was just a hair fast HOWEVER that is made up for by the voicing of the female character. Aiden's best friend Chelsea plays a not insignificant part of this story. Sometimes I struggle when male narrators voice female characters, but Michael Lesley did a great job there and that really makes the narration worth it to me. I really, really enjoyed how bad Aiden's dates were (that trivia game though--WELL PLAYED). Sometimes it can be uncomfortable watching one MC date other people, but in this case the dates were so bad that it's funny instead of uncomfortable. Overall a super cute Christmas story that I'm still listening to even though it's February because if 2020 taught us anything why not?

Cute & Sweet!!

This was a really cute, sweet and charming Christmas story. Very low on angst. It's also very low on steam, but was still charming enough to make up for it.

As for the narration. I know this is probably personal preference, but I didn't like the narration at all. It was pulling me out of the story, especially with the laughing. But, it wasn't awful, so I still gave it 3 stars for that part.

Adorable

This is honestly the cutest story ever! Expertly narrated by Michael Lesley. This narrator has the skill to identify the hidden nuance behind everything he reads. I wish there were more books read by him. Quick listen. Minimal smexy times. Just delightful! Highly recommend.

Sweet

This was a sweet and funny holiday romance. I loved Michael Lesley’s narration. He really brought Aiden and Liam to life!

a holiday short story

This is a really sweet holiday short story as Aiden doesn't want to show up to his company holiday party alone while his ex is there with his new boyfriend. Chelsea, Aiden's best friend, uses a dating app and sets him up on dates in the hopes Aiden finds someone to take to the party. I found this book a little predictable but sweet nonetheless. I was glad Aiden not only found a date to the party but so much more. Definitely recommend.
Narrator Michael Lesley does a fabulous job. He really got into the story.

LOVED IT

This is the only Christmas book I read this year and I’m so glad I did! The clever story and witty dialogue is so well written and the narrator is a perfect match.

Cute Holiday Romance

This audiobook has me rounding my rating up from 4.5. I enjoyed the story on its own but Michael Lesley's narration just made it even more enjoyable for me. This definitely a slow burn holiday romance story but the sexy time is worth the wait. This is such a cute story. It was fun to read.

Cute story with drunken narration

The narration was like a drunken close talker, volume swaying up and down, tempo speeding up and tapering off to an uncomfortable snuffling against the mic.
The constant snort laughing was nails on the chalkboard.

The story itself was charming albeit predictable.
This was 99% cozy, fade to black and 1% sex with “sticky fluid” and grabbing his privates
(I’m not even sure the scene lasted 60 seconds).
