The Trouble with Tinsel

A few years after they broke up professionally and personally, the ex-screenwriting team of Kerri Williams and Jon D’Angelo find their lives turned upside down when an old script of theirs is green-lit and they’re suddenly forced to write together again. Now, for the month of December, Kerri must leave behind her fiancé and her new life as a teacher in Brooklyn to return to her old glamorous life in sunny Hollywood with the man she used to love.

Jon and Kerri will do anything to finish the film and wrap up the set—they'll even work through Christmas—if it means they never have to face this awkward reunion ever again. To make matters worse, the star of the movie, Amari Rivers, thinks they’re still a couple (thanks to Kerri's real engagement ring) and wants to keep them on the set for support and love advice.

To keep Amari happy, Kerri and Jon enter into a fake engagement, but pretending to love each other brings back all the old feelings they've been trying so hard to forget since they came back to LA. Will this be the Christmas they finally get their own happy ending?
