Publisher's summary

Let me list the reasons why we cannot be together...

He is ten years older than me.

He is practically family.

And he is also my father’s business associate.

Amelia Edwards, the daughter of mogul Lex Edwards, is beginning her adult life. Away from home, she’s studying law at Yale and has the freedom of doing whatever she pleases without her controlling father watching her every move.

Family always comes first in the Edwards household. So, when her aunt insists Amelia visit her son, Will Romano, she does so out of obligation. The last time she saw him was years ago. But how terrible could it be? They had spent countless summers together, and her parents often referred to him as a son.

What she didn’t expect was a devastatingly sexy man—that is, if you can see past his cocky behavior. Will is an arrogant CEO with only one thing on his mind—becoming the next billionaire.

The rules are simple—they need to keep the affair hidden from their families.

Everything goes smoothly until Will is offered something he can’t refuse. Lex Edwards is going to make Will a billionaire, and all he needs to do is give up the one thing money can’t buy…

Age gap love

Great story and characters. This is a fantastic age gap drama. It is part one of two for this particular couple. Can’t wait to dive into the second book!

Love the story!

Really loved the story especially when its a continuance of the previous book series. Its as steamy as the other books, just a great read and really captures you! I was not too happy with the male reader though

❤️ A FIVE STAR FORBIDDEN AGE-GAP ROMANCE ❤️

The thing I loved about this Duet was that your taken on an epic journey through the first attraction, sizzles, sparks, mistakes, barriers and bitter heartbreaking roadblocks.. then the four year gap where there’s more roadblocks, a secret relationship (and even a near miss). However, through it all, you truly feel the love Will and Amelia have for each other despite their highs and lows. I also love that you share their happy ever afters with them at the end.. almost as a guest joining in to watch their wedding, the toasts and celebrations that you’ve been hoping for for so long. Great narration too by Christian and Laurie who brilliantly brought the characters and their feels to life so I could sit back, immerse myself and enjoy every single minute.

Worth a credit? It’s a two-credit Duet.. and yes, each one was definitely worth it.

I didn't think it would capture me

This was an amazing story . I enjoyed the age gap since My husband is older than I by almost ten years. it wasn't predictable I enjoyed all the characters Amelia & Will but I love Charlotte the best. She's a mother everyone should have putting her child first even against her husband. I loved how she just went into action no judgment just love. it's wonderful how Amelia's parent's history mirrors her own. I found it very relatable and rootable . I'm rushing for the second book . Ten ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amelia & Will

Overall I enjoyed Amelia and Wills story.
Especially because I love anything with Lex Edwards ;) even though sending Will away is :/
As for performance, great production but I felt the voices to be too deep/mature for the the characters.
