When the moon is full High above the Earth
Three daughters shall be born
On their 16th birthday, their destiny will begin
One daughter, born with the knowledge of the future, yet blind of those closest to her

Hope, your normal teenage girl, other than being one out of a set of triplets, dreams about the day she turns 16 and can get her license.

Unknowingly, as her 16th birthday draws closer, a curse that has been around for centuries will activate, causing her to have visions, giving her knowledge of the future. The things she sees, she hopes are just hallucinations.

New guy Bryce comes to town knowing of the curse. He’s part of a group that prepares their whole lives to train the triplet sisters, who are unlucky enough to have it befall them. Hoping the town he moves to doesn’t have the sisters they are looking for, once his eyes rest upon Hope, he knows without a doubt that his life will be changed. And with the spark at contact, he knows it will be changed forever.

With Bryce’s help, Hope must accept these changes and train, learning how to control her ability and preventing more visions from becoming a reality. As the fight hits closer to home, will Hope be prepared to defeat the evil, making the world safer for just a little bit longer?

Decent missed a few marks

I received this book for free at my request but the opinion is of my own. Overall this is a pretty interesting story this one focuses on Hope who is one of three of the triplets that have been given an interesting destiny. The narration was pretty solid I do feel there was times certain phrases or words weren’t really needed even with a third person point of view, but the characters and plot are all very interesting I would give it a 4.5

Awesomeness!!!

This book was full of awesomeness!! These characters and this world were well thought out and developed. This is my first book by the Author and I am loving her work. This book pulled me in from the very beginning with all of its twist, turns and surprises. Marsha Black does an excellent job capturing the minds of teenagers and what it is like to have sisters. Even though they all have very different personalities and rarely agree on anything the sisters seem to have a good relationship. Hope is very mature for her age and handles hearing the story of the triplets curse very well. I enjoyed seeing her learning about her abilities and how Bryce is always there to help her through it all. I loved also getting Bryce's POV. I love Hope and Bryce together and hope to see more of them in Destiny and Faith's Story. I can't wait to dive into Destiny's Story and learn more about these characters!!
This is a great start to the series and the narrator did a great job!!

Great read!!!!

Listened to this book during my daily walks around the neighborhood. It was fun and very excited seeing Hope come into her powers and Bryce watching over her like a protector. The story built up very well and I was always waiting for the next exciting experience to happen to the girls. The Narrator was great at portraying the characters. I recommend this book.

YA Urban Fantasy

This is written from Hope and Bryce's POV, which I like. I love to know what the other main character is thinking and for me this is great.
There is a prophecy, a set of triplets will save the world from evil. This is Hope's story (one of the triplets) who comes into her power first and Bryce is her trainer.
I have read the book but I found listening to it is even better. Can't wait to listen to the next book in the series.
This is a clean read so I would recommend it to those who love YA urban fantasy.

Good story with a fun premise

Entertaining story and I really liked the premise! Love the bit of mystery surrounding the curse and all of the magical stuff. The writing is okay, but there isn’t much depth. Everything seemed blasé; I couldn’t feel the emotion of the story. There also seemed to be some typos and timing issues with events in the story that seemed odd. I listened to the audio and the narrator did a good job, but the performance was a little bland sounding. Overall, she did a solid job. I really liked that the book had dual POVs; it was great to get Hope and Bryce’s POVs. There’s a sweet romance between Bryce and Hope; they have a cute connection. Enjoyable read overall and I’d like to read about the other sisters.

The Triplet's Curse review

An interesting story about three sisters. For the most part I liked this, the characters have bubbly, lively personalities. Four stars and worth it.

Full of magic and awesomeness

OH my goodness, where do I begin? This book was awesome! This book had a great flow to it, and the characters were well developed. Hope is the main character and it was really neat to see her come into her own, into her powers. Bryce, the new kid at school seems to immediately have a connection to Hope. I loved the story line. This book was a definite page turner and I am excited to dive into the next book in this series.

I had previously read this book but listening to the audio was really cool. This is actually the first audio book I've ever listened to so I have absolutely nothing to compare it with. But I thorougly enjoyed it and am anxious to get to the second book even more so now.

*Edited to add that I received an audio copy of this book at my request from the author. All opinions stated are solely my own*

Hope’s Story

Wow! Poor hope has so many things happening at the same time as well as having to learn how to defend herself as never before. I loved this book and really can’t wait for Destiny and Faith’s story.
