Interesting historical perspective

Great performance. The story was interesting from a historical perspective but it was too long. The ending was disappointing.

Great storytelling!

Love novels of this era. Makes you realize that history repeats itself. Europe during WW2 has endless stories about the atrocities of war. This story intertwines romance, love and death. Well written and thoroughly enjoyed.

Historical fiction at its best

Loved the beautiful writing and story. Narrator was perfect. The author has a gift with her descriptions- you feel like you can see the colors of the Christian Dior gowns!
