Touch my soul

You know the kind of story that you absolutely love and you can't do anything but rave about it. This story's so much more. It touch my soul. The Story is surprising I will not give it away just to say you will be very surprised. it is two love stories in one. Narrators did a excellent job. I will tell you that you need to pay super attention if you listening to this in not following along in the book because of the back-and-forth of present and past but it's such a wonderful story.

THE BEST KIND OF HEARTACHE

My goodness, this book blew all of my expectations out of the water!

This was the first contemporary romance I have read/listened to by this author, an I absolutely loved it! The book hangover was real!

I listened to this story on audible, and loved the narrators and their telling of this poignant story.

This story is beautiful , filled with heartache, and is wonderfully told.

I loved every facet of this story, and did not anticipate the twists! This is a mind-blowing story, wonderfully narrated and written, and contains drama, heartache, second chances, transcendent love, and so much more!

This is a great book and I highly recommend it!

A true romance, and a twist. Wow.

I absolutely loved this story. It's so nice to read about true, clean, heart-stopping romance. You can just feel it, like you're the one Jameson is wooing. I wish wooing was still the norm in today's society. But, boy, as other reviews have stated, there is a bit of a shocking twist later in the story....as things progressed and I wondered what would happen, where it would take me - I absolutely didn't see that coming. A wonderful, romantic, love story - moving, sensual, heartwarming, heartwrenching.

Excellent Story!

I don’t usually leave reviews because I have a hard time not giving away the story, but I had to take the time for this one. It’s a super creative story, including multiple love stories, some twists & turns, and a sweet relationship between Gran & Georgia. It kept me interested & eager and it’s different from anything else I’ve read or listened to. The narrators are excellent too. Highly recommend!

The ending was such a page turner!

Two thirds of the book seemed a bit cheesy, but that last third was so amazing I couldn’t read fast enough!

Simply Amazing!

This is my first read by this author and after I write this review, I’m going on a hunt for all of her work. Never, and I mean never ever, has a book been so emotionally captivating with a twist I wasn’t prepared for. To separate three loves stories, different kinds of love, romance, familial, and second chances, without losing track, storyline, or getting blurred, was simply amazing. I didn’t want it to end. This would make an amazing movie! Considering the irony since the author in the story hated books into movies, lol, all I could think of how magnificent it would be to watch this.

Past and present stories—well done

This is a well woven love story between past and present. The twist at the end was well timed and not obvious. Carly Robins was great, Tim Paige was great for the modern day characters.

This is a Romance…and very well told.

Heartbreaking

I just finished this and I am so sad. It’s just a sad story. It tried to end happy but it couldn’t make up for the sad. I do recommend it but it’s heavy. My critique, without giving anything away, would be that the modern day love story could have used some more oomph - it didn’t hold a candle to the 1940s love story.
