The Thing on the Roof is a gruesome tale of Tussman, a scholar and explorer who becomes obsessed with finding a hidden treasure which he believes to be buried beneath the altar of the ruined Temple of the Toad in the jungles of Honduras. He only needs to obtain an original edition of 'The Black Book' - a mysterious volume by an eccentric 18th century explorer - to obtain the clues he will need to access the crypt.
'The Black Book' is obtained, and Tussman sets off to Central America...but the adventure takes a very different turn than he could ever have imagined.

Powers of Darkness is an incredible literary discovery. In 1900, Icelandic publisher and writer Valdimar Asmundsson set out to translate Bram Stoker's world-famous 1897 novel Dracula. Called Makt Myrkranna (literally, 'Powers of Darkness'), this Icelandic edition included an original preface written by Stoker himself. Makt Myrkranna was published in Iceland in 1901 but remained undiscovered outside of the country until 1986, when Dracula scholarship was astonished by the discovery of Stoker's preface to the book.

Powers of Darkness is an incredible literary discovery. In 1900, Icelandic publisher and writer Valdimar Asmundsson set out to translate Bram Stoker's world-famous 1897 novel Dracula. Called Makt Myrkranna (literally, 'Powers of Darkness'), this Icelandic edition included an original preface written by Stoker himself. Makt Myrkranna was published in Iceland in 1901 but remained undiscovered outside of the country until 1986, when Dracula scholarship was astonished by the discovery of Stoker's preface to the book.

Horrible reading
Over dramatized. Mispronounced lots of words sometimes differently each time. Worst reader ever. Please don’t use her anymore and fire anyone who did accept this reading. I should have listened beforehand and ask for a refund for every book read by her.
