The Teachings of Ptahhotep: The Original Ten Commandments
Publisher's Summary
Ptahhotep was a vizier in ancient Egypt who was known for his influential wisdom literature. The teachings in this book emphasize the importance of humility, faithfulness to one's own duties, and that silence really can be golden. One of the major reasons why this book is so interesting is because it shows that Black people actually wrote in that time period. Furthermore, these teachings were originally written in hieroglyphics, which demonstrates the fact that we had our own writing style and language as well. In addition, this proves that there are written records showing how civilized and accommodating to one another Black people were since the beginning of time. The teachings of Ptahhotep are what I like to call the original 10 commandments.

Great Teachings from a Great Ancestor
This is a wonderful book! Ptah-Hotep's teachings are great even now, thousands of years later. It is especially good for young men to read and memorize. And the sister who read the Audible version did a great job! Amen!
