So powerful
Wow. I’m changed by this book. So informative, inspiring and compelling. Serena Riley’s presentation of the story really reflected Assata’s humanity. It is so necessary to hear this story in Assata’s own words. This is a critically important piece of history that all people fighting for justice, especially people of African descent must hear.

A compelling story. It makes you wonder if there is exaggeration. Scholarship proves Assata’s experience did, in fact, happen. Wow.
