Simplified Hermetics
This is a book written for a different era and very different people, in a rather different culture from our own. For it's time, it's a bit of a hermetics for dummies. By today's standards, it's fairly dry and repetitive.
The narrator was clear, and did a fine job with what he had in front of him. In fact, the almost monotone reading fit very well with the material.
It's challenging to compare this book with the masterful performance art that we're familiar with in the 21st century. But if you want a quick rundown of basic Hermetic philosophy, this is likely as close to what was being practicedb over 100 years ago.
