Warm and Enjoyable

so much of the authors own personalities and lives come out in this book and that is really the main selling point. I loved hearing about their lives. Most of the information here just confirmed my own experiences as a trans woman. I did pick up a few interesting tidbits here and there. It was quite enjoyable and kept me engaged into the end. I will listen to it again, if only to hear the friendly voices of a couple of other trans travelers.

Real and relatable

I could write my own book for this review, I have so much to say but will keep it short. I didn't know who Gigi was until I got her other book "He said, she said" and I didn't know of Gotmik until I started watching Gigi's YouTube videos. So much of what they both say in this book is simple validation of things I have somehow in my isolated world, come to believe while on my own journey. In my heart of hearts, I wish that I could actually know these two and talk with them, maybe some of their incredible enthusiasm and beauty would rub off on me. So many things in my life are paralleling their topics and as they mention, having mentors, trans Moms etc. would be so comforting but is so severely lacking for me, and as an Entrepreneur I could use some of Gotmik's product development skills too!! You two ROCK!!!

it's amazing perhaps could use a revision of life today

I loved it I'm a transgender female of older varieties and the changes at this stage in life are harder then most who can start as a teenager so I'm experiencing a lot and a lot of it on my own I was raised to be tough after all 😆 my own downfall anyway this book has opened my eyes to look past certain things and just to enjoy my journey I was hooked shortly after pressing play is there more by this author I hope to find out .

Terrible

I never heard the why behind the transition other then it felt my true self. How is that helpful for a young person, parent or friend to help someone who is struggling with trans thoughts, gender identity or gender dysphoria. It was helpful to hear all of the latest and greatest things to do and say within trans communities.
