Publisher's summary

Cold and alone, Brad finds himself at the harsh frontier of this terrifying new world. He’s lucky to be taken in by a new community of survivors - a militia enclave - and at first, they seem to have a good thing going. Food, supplies, and leadership. Has Brad found his new safe haven?

Of course, nothing in the new dark world is easy, and though things seem to be idyllic on the surface, his new community quickly begins to show its true colors....

Can Brad keep his moral compass as everyone around loses theirs? And can he track down Anna and the children before it’s too late?

This is the third book in the Enter Darkness series.

MIND BLOWN!

First I have to start off by saying that this book was given to me free of charge for a review of the audiobook, but as always, this does not change my opinion and will not determine how I review the book or the rating that I give it.

This novel was amazing and was my favorite read of the week. I have a thing for apocalyptic/post books and this was right up my alley. I highly recommend this book.

A good entry in genre

I liked this audio version of the series. The first two were eBooks. I liked the first two better. I believe the author ran out of steam pretty much throughout book 3. Book 3 seemed to plod on to the end. Would I recommend this series and this book? Yep, I sure would. Now for the obligatory: "I was given this free review copy audio-book at my request and have voluntarily left this review." "I was voluntarily provided this review copy audio-book at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.”

Will this be our future

The Survivors - A Post-Apocalyptic EMP Novel: Enter Darkness, Book 3. The adventure continues or should it be the nightmare continues, the post apocalyptic world is no place for the weak & naive. Gripping and fast paced our hero makes another mistake which may cost him dearly.
Good entertainment, just as good as the first two.

A great series.

This is the third book in the series. I would recommend reading them in order. They are short but we are following Brad and how he learns to survive. In here he ends up at a retirement facility. He thinks they are so nice. But looks are deceiving. This is an enjoyable and entertaining series.
I listened to this On audio. Andrew B Wehrlen did a wonderful job on the narration.

What next

The Survivorss, Enter Darkness, Book 3, By: K. M. Fawkes tells a story post apocalypse struggle of survival.

It has good characters and a good story line.

The story doesn’t end in a cliffhanger, but does leave the story where you want to know what happen next.

I can’t only remember any corse Language. There are no sex scenes. Although there is some violence it doesn’t go into a lot of details. A man does get throat cut and there is a hint of cannibalism.

Narrator Andrew B. Wehrlen does a good job, brings each character alive with their own individual voices.

Searching

I have been enjoying this series. In this book Bradley the main character a veterinarian in search of Anna her son Sammy and Martha (rescue from weird cult) who left Brad. Later the cult destroyed his cabin after his refusal to return Martha (from book 2). This has been the harshness’ winter thus far and he wonders during his travel to Bangor and barely surviving until he is taken in to a military community (previously a senior community) after approval of Major Walker as he was a veterinarian and good hunter. Most of the people he liked but it was to restricting and Walker and his soldiers were evil as they killed people when they were useless to them or resisted their commands. Walker got what he was deserved, was upset with happened with Jamie. Brad escapes and him and Remington continues his search and heads to Island Falls.. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. THANK YOU!

Good Post Apocalyptic novel!

This is a good, short novel. I enjoyed the characters, as they came alive on the pages. I felt like I was tagging along for the adventure. I felt like the book could have been a bit longer, but I do look forward to the next book in the series. Brad is a very capable kind of guy and has a good heart, but bad luck seems to follow him in this post apocalyptic tale. I would recommend this novel for anyone who is a apocalypse enthusiast.

Lee!!!!

So I’m wondering how I can be so excited about the possibility of a charter we have yet to meet being alive. No proof of life but it’s enough to make me excited! The other possibility of Brad being reunited with his ‘family’ at some point is also exciting but I’m not sure Anna deserves him. She’s beginning be hard to like. I can understand her but also can’t..... This has been a great series and I can’t wait for the next one.
Narration by Andrew is always excellent! I will listen to any & everything he narrates.

Was Just Ok

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This review is for the audio copy of The Survivors - A Post-Apocalyptic EMP Novel: Enter Darkness, Book 3, by K. M. Fawkes and narrated by Andrew B. Wehrlen. This book was just ok for me. To be fair, I jumped right into book three (this book), without having read or listened to books 1 and 2. But there was just enough back story to get me going. The story developed decently but I never got really attached to the protagonist. The narration was good, Andrew did a good job with differentiating the characters. The story just did not grab my attention or interest. Not bad but not above average either.

Still good.

I received a free copy of this audiobook and exchange for an unbiased review. I have listened to every other book in the series and all this is still good I do feel like it's slipping a little bit. The narration is great though. hopefully they can bring things back around in book four.
