A must read for romcom fans

This book has everything: summer/vacation vibes leading to a wedding, a huge game of assassins, pies, Taylor Swift references, and so much love. While this is a YA, as a librarian it’s one I’d recommend to adult romance readers too. There’s such a wide appeal to the writing. It’s fun with depth and texture that give it an emotional weight in the best way. Highly recommend.

Loved it so much

Loved this book so much. I’ve read it so many times that getting the audiobook was a great experience.

Loved the story but……

The narration was not good. Would have loved it to be narrated by someone like Julia Whelan. Just ruined it for me. Would have rather read it.

How well it’s written

It’s written so well and I just love how cutie it is with all the little pictures that came to mind reading this. It’s suck a cutie book with a wonderful story line and is the best for young teens. It’s definitely not too spicy or anything they are just very sweet!!

A new comfort read

I loved the relationship of the family, the light hearted and outgoing personalities that bring them all together. the cousins, the assassin game, overcoming the past of tragedy and loss, to bring them closer to one another in friendship and love.
this might be TMI when I got to the part a family memeber said "I will always be your biggest fan" I got the message my great Aunt, who I was really close with had passed away.. it almost felt like it lined up perfectly along with me waking up at 2:10am and her passing happened at 2:11am. this book is now apart of me and the ties I have tied to it now with my Aunt, I will definitely reread/relisten to Witt and Meredith's story again.

Cheesy but great!

Slightly cheesy but super cute and a great feel good listen! My teenage daughter wanted to read it so I listened to it first and approve

cheesy yet charming

I listened to this for a book club and although I would have never picked this out for myself, I actually enjoyed it. A bit cheesy, but well written and charming. The characters are well fleshed out and the plot is fun. I'm very picky when it comes to narrators and end up just reading a lot of books because of that, but I thought the narrator did an excellent job. It made me wish I had a big close family. I probably won't read or listen to other stories by this author as they just aren't my style and a little young for me... but I'm glad I listened to this one.
