Flawed but still entertaining

The criticisms were spot on - narrator is too breathy; characters are obnoxious; and story is a bit weak. However, I found the book entertaining and listened until the end.

Worth it

I enjoyed this book. The story had a great pace. Nice twists and turns. I had a hard time rooting for the main character, she was a bit.... terrible. I came to adjust to her. I look forward to another book by this author.

when living double lives catch up with you

Chile...the drama! This book is juicy and full highs, and more highs. The betrayal is not what I expected at all, but a great read.

Enjoyable but...

It’s hard to fully like a book when the main character is so unlikeable. Performance was great.

Great story and the narrator did a wonderful job with the voices and applying inflection and tone at appropriate times. I really enjoyed this book.

I love the narrator she is one of my favorites. The book itself was an enjoyable listen. The author had me wondering with a lot going on in the storyline.

Good book and excellent narration

The idea was good but the plot moves slowly. I had a bit of trouble sticking with it. The major character was headstrong and not likable. Twists were good.

Different - in a good way

This was a thoroughly enjoyable and suspenseful book. It was different in that I sure hadn’t figured it all out until the end. That makes a good read in my opinion.
