The story was good but would have been much better without all the vulgar language.

Another awesome story by an awesome author!

You think you understand and know what’s going on.... but you don’t. Looking back, it’s like a V8 moment. I should have seen it coming. You can’t help crying one minute and smiling the next. Heart wrenching and heart warming all in one great story.

Very moving story

over all, good story. a few things I didn't see coming, a few I did. some of the stuff is a little far-fetched, but hey, it's probably actually happening in real life. (power, greed, politics).
The part I really didn't like was the female narrator reading the letters from the male POV. IT WAS DREADFUL. Some was very 2nd grade reading level reading each word as if thinking it what the word is and then kinda whiney.
Then, the southern drawl was far from consistent. In the beginning, a character might have a very pronounced southern drawl, but as the book progressed, it would get weaker or go away all together. the rest was pretty well done.

definitely worth a read/ listen. started off a little "the notebook"ish.

Good Story

At first I thought it was going to be pretty predictable but there are some real twists. Good listen.

It was a great story line but a bit too descriptive in the sex parts for me.

Deserves 10 stars!

I loved this book! it was fantastic. Excellent story with a couple of twists I wasn't expecting. The narrators did a great job. I would LOVE for them to narrate another Tara Sivec book together.
