Publisher's Summary

ALEC - Against all odds, we found each other. And then a single moment of betrayal ripped it all away. I thought Christine had forgiven me. I thought we’d moved past it. I thought she’d healed.

CHRISTINE - I loved them both and they loved me. But then Danny left and our triangle was broken. So was I really that surprised when Alec put it back together again?

DANNY - We are meant to be together. We all know that. But what did Alec do after I left? What could he have possibly done to make Christine want revenge?

Great 2nd book in series 3.5 stars

Once again, Julie and Johnathan have written a wonderful book with incredible narration. I’m giving this book 3-1/2 stars instead of 5 because 1. It was missing the hot steamy scenes I’m used to (there were a couple of quick ones) and 2. I had a very hard time understanding what was going on. I plan to re-listen when I’m not as distracted, like when book 3 comes out. I may then change my review. Still, better than 95% of books in this genre.

Phenomenal! It’s all the stars for me!

JA Huss and Johnathan McClain are an amazing duo and The Square does not disappoint. I’ve read both The Triangle (Book 1) and The Square multiple times and have been eagerly waiting for this audiobook. It was everything I had anticipated. Tad Branson, Ava Erickson, and Luke Jackson deliver an exceptional performance capturing the complexity of this story perfectly.

Loved the first book, not a fan of this one

The writing and performance was brilliant, just didn't like the story itself at all. The time line of events were confusing from the beginning to the mid of the story. The whole pregnancy twist was just not the best turn of events to me. Plus all the steamy parts were just not that steamy this time around, because the couplings were just so off and dispassionate. I can tell that future volumes still have a lot of potential to be as good as the first book of the series, I just didn't like the story in this this one at all, total turn off.

“Complicated” (in a good way!)

The story twists and turns, makes you feel excited and worried, but most importantly, you get wrapped up in the lives of Alec, Danny and Christine. The performance is exceptional. Don’t miss the EOBS at the end. It is PROFOUND! Thanks to JA Huss and Johnathan McClain for another amazing and plot twisting journey!

Not my favorite Huss and McClain book

Ok, so I LOVED the first book, immediately started the second book. it wasn't bad, just not as great as the first. And it has a shitty cliffhanger. In the EOBS Johnathan says there will be a book 3 to tie up the loose ends, but here we are 2 years later and I cant find a 3rd book anywhere! Now that Ive paid for the first 2 books, I would at least like to know how the story ends. Also, this book was confusing. It goes back and forth between the past and now and I had a really hard time trying to figure it out. I love Tad Branson(Johnathan) he's my favorite male narrator, Ive listened to all the books I can find that hes narrated. Like I said, its not bad, and o dont regret buying it, but its not as perfect as the first book. So dont have high hopes like i did, and be prepared to be left hanging at the end. To me, that was the most frustrating thing of all!

Disappointing Book 2

Book 1 was excellent; so it's hard to comprehend Book 2 was so poor. At the times the story was literally farcical. None of the "triangle" characters is actually likeable in any way; they are self-obsessed killers. So it's hard to push on with the story when nothing they do is sensible or interesting or credible.

Despite being a beautifully acted narration, nothing seems to revive this flagging story. A waste of 8 hours.
