A Delightful Find

This is a book that cleverly combines the supernatural, romance, and suspense into one intriguing package. Heroine Sloan may seem like simply a publicist, but she possesses psychic abilities no one knows about except her best friend, Adrienne. Until a slip of the tongue in front of sexy investigator, Nathan, gets Sloan involved in the search for a serial killer - by using her supernatural abilities.

The most refreshing part about this novel was it veered from the "formula" romance by introducing not one, but two suitors vying for Sloan's affections. The reader is convinced Nathan is her guy until she stumbles upon another "of her kind" - Warren, who possesses abilities similar to hers. The development of the characters along with the fast-paced suspense story is delightful.

For those who love saga-like series, you'll be pleased to know this story continues with three more books, apparently keeping all four of the main characters - which is the only reason I did NOT give it five stars, as I prefer series that are not sequential.

Unusual premise, great characterization, lively dialogue, and a strong dose of suspense. Highly recommend.

I listened to the audio version of this book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was intrigued by the main character and I found myself enjoying her friend Abigail and the story. Of course a hottie jumps in the picture and I was really enjoying the story. It’s a bit of a mystery with super natural in the book so I really enjoyed. I would recommend both the book and audio.

Very Good Supernatural Fiction

Brittany Pressley brings the story to life! I absolutely loved this book! I couldn't put it down and then I couldn't stop listening! Elicia Hyder is a very talented writer!

Book was entertaing.

I was worried it might be a book for teens, i was pleasantly surprised i was enjoying the story. Keep it coming not much on the comedy. Try one foot in the grave series. Im on the 2nd book now.

Outstanding!

This is an outstanding kick off for this series. Extremely imaginative and detailed plot with riveting characters.

Not your standard supernatural story

What a good book! A good person that was good, and a not so good person who was also actually good.

storyline

I listened to this start to finish. couldn't stop, if tou Luke thrillers, with outstanding written characters this is for you. Especially characters that aren't quite sure of their place!

Wonderful!

Loved the Book. The narrator Brittany was fantastic. I actually looked for more books narrated by her as she kept my interest and wasn't monotone or boring. The book was great...great mystery and loved the characters. I recommend.

One of my new Fav Series!!

It is not easy for me to find a series, let alone one that is an audiobook, but that I enjoy but this one hits the mark. This book sent me through so many emotions. One of suspense, another of happiness, and then just laughter. Some people have problems with the fact that the main character, Sloan, is into two different guys but eh... it’s a book. Also so many other books are the same. She is open about the whole thing and if you read the whole series, you will get an understanding. Yes I binge read/listened to the ENTIRE series and it is wonderful! Can’t wait for the next book!
