Publisher's Summary

Warren, Nathan, Sloan and the rest of the Soul Summoner crew are back in book seven of the Soul Summoner series.

Warren Parish is literally about to go to hell and back to protect his daughter, but first, he must save her from an even closer danger - heaven.

The council of angels has decreed Iliana must be brought to Eden to be made a seraph - an angel frozen as a child. And though it means Warren can finally be with her, she will never grow up. She will never access her power. And she will never have the life he sacrificed everything to give her.

Time is running out. He has until her first birthday to bring her to Eden. If not, the guardians will be sent for her, and he will be stripped of his birthright as the archangel and lose his daughter forever.

My least favorite, but still an amazing series

This book was my least favourite of them all. I found myself listening to it at double the speed. I do like that Warren seems to have distracted himself and is finding happiness. Yet Sloan is my favourite character so I like hearing more about her point of view in this book was all about Warren. Still though, it was a great book

A different point of view...

I appreciate each of the books being told from a different character‘s point of view. Atlans to the authenticity of the story however was not a huge fan of this narrators voice. Felt like he was pronouncing some of the character/angel names incorrectly particularly Ruel... when narrator pronounced it Ruel this narrator pronounced it “Rule”... Plus his different voices for the characters weren’t great. He made Nathan McNamara sound kind of like a goofball! After listening to, A Regular Guy, told by Nathan and then moving onto this narrator in The Soul Destroyer, I found this narrator missing something.

There is a lot of information and new angels and powers to keep up with in this book. Had to go back several times and listen a second and third time to keep it all straight.

Another 5 star for Elicia Hyder!!

Another exceptional story written. They narrator is very good. Even though this is fantasy story does make you wonder about the world around you and the world. Author definitely thinks outside the heavens to bring earth and what could truely be.

loved it!

I struggle with Male narrators, but not this one. the narrator was good, and the story most excellent! I definitely shed a few tears.
Make sure you're caught up with The Soul Summoner series before getting to this one.
Can't wait for more!

Wish Ms. Pressley was here for this one!

I have to start off with the narrator, I don’t know why they changed, possibly because this is Warren’s POV but I honestly think Brittany Pressley could and would have done a better job at narrating Warren’s voice than this guy. He makes Nathan sound like a jumpy hyper little puppy and the girls voices are dreadful. Maybe I did not enjoy the story enough because the narrator I don’t know? He even pronounces the names of people we have been already introduced to wrong. It is so frustrating, if you are taking over for someone, DO YOUR RESEARCH, people are paying to hear this and you are just confusing us! It’s also not fair to the author! Oof!!! I need to get off that subject...
Anyway, this story takes place between Earth and Eden, it is through Warren’s POV and we get to see Warren make a “friend” in Eden. Time on earth is different than in Eden so 15 minutes could be 2 years. Warren travels to and from trying to find the “Morning Star” and he has a friend tag along with him.
Once again, I think the book could have been a lot better with a different narrator and I am sure that is why I did not enjoy the book as much as I should have, give it a shot and let’s hear your thoughts!

Happy Listening!

Amazing

Jesse LaPierre and Brittany Pressley bring the story to life! Not sure how this series could possibly get any better, but it does with each book. You need to read/listen to the books in order and you will be so glad you did. This book was amazing and I couldn't put it down. So much in here - action, heart wrenching moments, surprise, love, friendship, family, and so much more. The characters are amazing and the detail in the story allows you to feel like you are there with them. Thank you for this series Elicia Hyder! I wish it never had to end!!

fantastic

Loved it, as I have loved all of this series so far...I hate when it ends, it makes me feel so sad.. well worth ignoring everyone and not doing anything until it was finished...
