This is how the world ends: with a single snowflake.

After a tragic accident at work, all Grady Miller wanted was an escape. He finds it months later with two of his closest friends. Together, the three of them travel south to Prism Lake for the upcoming holiday, where they plan on spending the sunny weekend drinking, grilling, and relaxing.

But when a series of monstrous blizzards cover the Eastern United States in feet of snow, knocking out communications and making the roads impossible to drive on, they realize their weekend of fun could turn into a lifetime of survival.

Because there's something out there besides the cold....

Something sinister....

Okay story. Narration left much to be desired. The voices all sounded the same, except male vs female. It was hard to tell who was talking. MG’s voices usually seem to sound jovial no matter the situation. Ending was a disappointment; no closure!

Not my usual genre, but I'm glad I took a chance on this standalone novel.

Scary and just about perfect for a long road trip!

I didn’t know what to expect with this title because it’s not my genre of choice, but I’m really glad I went with it. I didn’t want to stop listening. Really good!

Surprisingly good

I hate hate hate hate how short the books are. Book 1 and 2 could easily go together and books 3,4 and 5 could go together as well. I love this story so much and it’s absolutely worth the listen, I’d just rather have an 8-10 hour audiobook to listen to instead spending money or credits on the next part of the story. Don’t get me wrong, it’s worth it. The story is unique. The characters are like able and you’re kept on the edge of your seat wondering what exactly caused the apocalypse and what the monsters really are.

I have one singular complaint lol

The Snow was by far the best multi-media novel I have ever had the pleasure of reading m/listening to in my 70 years on this planet. Matt Godfrey made my year. I listened to it in one setting. While painting and rearranging my kitchen cupboards.

Awesomeness Guaranteed
