So what happens to these characters? Especially Ember and Constantine. Abruptly stopped and then continued with new characters that we don’t care about

Enjoyed this trilogy, It was pretty hot and I liked the various pairings (or more lol). The Ai voice did for sure ruin it... with books that have colloquialisms like 'helluva' ai doesn't know how to read it (it read it as hellOOvah), so it takes you out of the story. I also got very lost in how many dudes there are and what kind of hybrids they are and I think I'd need to book to follow.

Fun but also what is happening?

I kept trying to pull happiness from this female: one situation after another, to be told, “that’s the way it is”. I did not feel love from any of the kidnaps, possessive behavior, demeanative conversation with her/about her-no spoiler- but the agreement was awful/shameful! She is this thing/that should taken it, for our races to survive.
I didn’t like it. Need scalding showers.

It was a bit too short for my liking
I want to read them all

The title is a fair description

This book has a ton of possible triggers and the storyline is hard to follow. The lack of appropriate inflection by the digital voice doesn't help either.

Awful read.
