Actually a really good story!

I didn’t know if I would like this book or not. But honestly it’s probably one of my new favorites to hear. Really it was 5/5!

Good story, average narration

Byers writes a good story, but the narrator needs to study unfamiliar words. Her characterizations were good, but mispronounced some names and some words. Especially "poleaxe". It's an issue I've heard with other titles in this genre, especially Forgotten Realms books.

Better than expected..

The author and narrator did a fantastic job with this story. I am big E. Cale fan and was wondering if Paul Kemp would only be able to satisfy this storyline. Great surprise!!

Good story poor narrator.

You can tell that the narrator is not a fan of the forgotten realms novels. She narrates the book really choppy and mispronounces many words that are familiar to most forgotten realms enthusiast.

Fun fast paced story.

Story was fun and fast paced. Narrator was OK, but sometimes seemed not familiar with the genre.
