Great characters!

I loved so much about this book! It got me out of my reading slump. I enjoyed the realness of the characters especially Capris parents. The problems she had with her parents were also so real. It was very refreshing to see harsh family dynamics even though it was difficult to witness at times. My only small complaint is the lack of attention to the daughter character who was kinda bratty and self-involved. She needs to be fleshed out more. Love this series so far!

Cute!

Love Capri as an amateur sleuth who is willing to do anything for truth. She gets herself in the middle of two different serial killer cases all while juggling doing tours around the city. The ending left with the possibility of a sequel! Can’t wait if so!

This was a very fun read.

Really enjoyed this book

I was surprised. Something about it made me think I might be disappointed with this book. I was wrong. The characters were well thought out and Capri was a quite capable woman.

Not stingy with the clues

Unlike many mysteries, the story was reasonable with clues. For those, like me, that see a cute cover and see potential for a mystery with some humor. I’m sorry no humor. Very much a cozy mystery.

A fun cozy mystery!

This was such a fun cozy mystery and a fantastic narration! I enjoyed reading from the perspective of someone in middle age rather than someone in their late teens/early 20’s as many books are.

Excellent plot and narration

I loved this audiobook and I wish this author had more available. Narrator was great to listen to.

Capri, makes her living by giving serial killer tours in the city of San Francisco. She knows this all too well since she is also the granddaughter of the serial killer William ‘Overkill Bill” Sanzio. When a copycat killer strikes San Francisco Capri finds herself at the heart of the case when the police discover that one of the victims is no other than Capri’s ex mother in law.

I enjoyed this cozy whodunit mystery was a great escape from my go to usual genre. This story kept me entertained and surprised. I really loved how Michelle described all the city’s landmarks, it really took me back to San Francisco. My favorite part was getting a sneak peek into Capri’s thinking of how everything is playing out. If you are looking for a fun cozy mystery then try this.

This is book one in The Serial Killer Guide to San Francisco Mysteries. I am looking forward to reading book in the series.

I listened to on @audible Narrated by Stephanie Németh-Parker. She did a great job bringing the story to life.
