Not for me.
Perhaps it would have been a better book to read rather than listen to so that I could hear it in my own voice. The author’s voice and deliverance was distracting for me personally so I found that I could only stand it in small chunks.
Aside from the performance, I felt like the entire book was circumventing something but never really getting there. Almost like an “I did it, and you can too!” book. I found it a bit repetitive and even contradictory at times. There were some good pieces of advice but mainly fluff mixed with personal stories I found it hard to connect with and motivational quotes.

Absolutely awful
Such a waste of time. Takes forever to get to any point. Literally could skip chapters up to 5 before the story begins. Prior to that, she uses 4 chapters to tell the audience about her writing the darn book.

I really wanted to like this
I downloaded this book because it was on every "Best Self Love Book" list... unfortunately I stopped listening at chapter 8. I kept waiting for it to get going, or get better. It never did for me. in the 8 chapters that I listened to it just seemed to repeat itself over and over again. I feel terrible writing a bad review but it just didn't click for me at all. The author's voice is hard to focus on and there was not any point that I felt the urge of "OOOO! I gotta write that down so I don't forget!!!" Maybe I am in a different space or something. I am sure it could help some, just not me.

She spent four chapters talking about the struggle to write the book and her feelings about writing the book but never actually started reading what was in the book, and I lost patience waiting for the guts of it.
