I enjoyed the story and how the author wrapped up with a mixture of historical facts and imagination. Also, the concept of “pillow post” is so sweet.

Loved it!

I absolutely loved this book. It's full of warmth, sorrow and healing. The fact that I'm a gardener probably enhanced my joy in listening to it.

personal growth and redemption for most but not all characters. I liked the dual stories unfolding. lovely language.

The story was intriguing and coincidences from real life interesting.

The flower metaphor was way overwrought and got annoying. The story itself was interesting enough that I finished the book.
