Publisher's summary

Micah: Constantine Ross is a cocky, provoking little...yeah. And I swear, I'd think that even if his family's business wasn't my biggest competition. It's time someone taught the man a lesson or two about life. At least that's what I tell myself when I offer him a job. Call it my good deed for the year...maybe the century.

But now he's in my shop. In my space. In my every damn thought. In. My. Bed.

And how the hell am I supposed to resist him?

Constantine: I'll be the first to admit I've royally screwed up, but what can I say? I was a stupid teen who lost his dad and spiraled out of control. Almost a decade later, I'm still trying to make amends. The last thing I need is my family's arch-nemesis wading into my life like he's got all the answers. Except...I really need money, and the arrogant jerk offered me a job.

I can deal with Micah's attitude. My attraction to him? That's different. He's my boss, not my boyfriend. And he's way too old for me. But God, he's gorgeous. Dominant. Compelling.

I don't want to want him.... But I can't turn away.

Biased Review
In my opinion, this is the best book of the series. Or I just love Constantine. This forbidden love is a nice, light read...err, listen.

Sweet Holy May/Dec, Enemies to Lovers Love story

I think Micah and Constantine are one of my favorite O’Learian couples. I LOVE the sarcasm and banter between the two. First they hated each other, then they started to think...maybe they don’t hate each other after all. I love that they provide exactly what the other has been desperately needing. This can be listened to as a standalone, but it would enhance your experience if you listen through the series in order. As a bonus, this is the book the character in May’s newest book (Off Plan, as of April 30th) originates from.

It's review time 🎧
The Secret: Love in O’Leary Series, Book 3
By May Archer
Narrated by Alexander Cendese, Iggy Toma

Narrator score🎧 ; yet again the narration was amazing. Both narrators were fantastic. I love Con his character was so well acted I just fell for the character even more then reading it.

Level of steam🔥: the steamy parts take time to come but when they do its incredible. Very hot. The relationship between the two is very special.

Level of anxiety and sadness0😱😢: sad? Well... no. Definitely not a sad story. Con is an hilarious character very lovable soul but you have a very misunderstood boy with a great soul that probably will make you shed some tears ....

The book itself📖: well I think this story is my absolute favorite from the them all by far. The story was laced with humor and real feelings. You just have to adore Con. And Micah from the other side is that take care person.... I don't even think he understands how much he cares for others. They are a very complex and beautiful per. And the relationship of Con and his mon is so real and painful... the responsibility he's feeling for his family.
Ohh just go ahead and listen to the book.

Loved it!!

I loved The Secret so much!! I really enjoyed seeing Con grow as a character and that was thanks to Micah. I also enjoyed seeing Micah loosen up after spending time with Con. I like the fact that there was no big mystery to solve. That this was just two men trying to be together with out causing issues with the families. I do have to admit that Con’s mother got on my nerves quite a few times. She never listened or took her son seriously and that pissed me off. Otherwise a great book!
Narration was great. I absolutely love, love, love Iggy Toma!! Alexander Cendese did an amazing job as well!

Sweet, Sexy Story..., More Love in O'Leary!!!

So loved this installment of Love in O'Leary, headed by Constantine Ross & Micah Bloom! An extremely creative drama drawing two men -- loaded with their personal/business dealings -- into an interesting saga leading to their very own HEA!!

If you're desiring a juicy story, with several nutty, well-meaning townsfolk thrown in, this will more than suffice! Julianne's younger brother has much to learn about communication, commitment, and forgiving oneself..., and Micah's just the man to show him. Excellent!!

Super sweet and spicy hot!

O’Leary has yet another couple sneaking around, hiding. This time it is the mischief maker/sweetheart Con and the rival to his family’s business, the much older, type-A Micah Bloom. This story takes place at about the same time as The Gift, where Con’s brother Julian is also hiding a relationship. Archer is a wonderful writer- the two stories sound similar, but are as vastly different as the ocean and deep space. Her gift here is using words to portray the metamorphosis of an animosity filled anti-relationship to a union of spicy hot lovers (seriously- get the fire extinguisher out for this one). Another absolutely fantastic job by Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese- they bring the story to another level! Get out your toothbrush and tissues- this one is as sweet as they come, and might yank a few tears out with it’s HEA!

the narrators were awesome as always

I totally loved Micah & Constantine this is definitely one of my favorite stories that I will listen to again.
I was happy they mentioned Daniel & Julian being inseparable since he got back to town from his trip.
I loved those two as well. ❤
On to the next story...

Tied for #1

I have read this book a few times already! I keep going back to it. The story, the characters, their development, the writing are all just too good not to return to. I wish we could get more O’Leary and Whispering Key books already. So good!

I loved this story. The characters were perfect and the narrators brought them to life perfectly. It was funny and so romantic. Slow burn led to a epic 5 chilli perfection.

Best narrators ever

Let’s be honest- I could listen to these pair read a phone book and it would be epic. They make anything they narrate sound interesting lifting it off the page beautifully although the mother aspect of the story was overwhelming

Mediocre

I dislike romance novels where the mom is a third a main character. And I disliked the coincidence how the issue with the wedding flowers in the end was solved.
There were some sound disturbances in one of the chapters. It sounded like wind blowing in the mic.
And, well, you like Cendese or not. I learned to tolerate him.

Best O’Leary story yet!

This enemies-to-lovers, age-gap romance is my favourite Love in O’Leary story so far! Micah Bloom and Constantine Ross are in rival floral businesses and O’Leary isn’t really big enough for the both of them. Whereas Micah is thoughtful and quiet, maybe too quiet, Con is a loud and irresponsible charmer and he grates on Micah as much as he attracts him. I really enjoyed this exploration of family and having to live with your mistakes when you grow up in a small town. Nobody, including Con’s family, seems to have realised that Con has grown into a responsible, hard-working, and intelligent man, though it’s magic when Micah comes to realise it! Alexander Cendese (as Micah) and Iggy Toma (as Con) narrate the audio with their usual brilliance! (Currently free on the Audible Plus catalogue)
