Background noise

It starts a series. Very caveman, emotionally inept, borders on DubCon. Don’t know what think of FMC, but blindly naive damsel in distress. The suspense plot is sketchy, skims by a lightning speed without much detail. It’s a bare bones attempt at cashing in on the popularity of “dark romance”. Things like the mansion is both home and headquarters, so having a black snake prominently on display in foyer means what ? Is it a king snake or a mamba.

Addictive

Good story line. Great narration. Truly enjoyed the dark romance. Intriguing characters with depth. Can’t wait for the next stories to make it to audio!

Ugh…

This book is fine as part of the plus catalog But I would not spend a credit. I hope the rest of the series gets better.
