Publisher's Summary

On one tragic October day, a horrible school bus accident sends two neighboring towns into a tailspin of shock, grief, and unrelenting sorrow. Jimmy Freeman and his four friends heard all of the stories and rumors about the horrendous loss of life in that violent crash. But their 10-year-old imaginations get the better of them, and now they have to go and see the cursed site for themselves. But some things are best left alone and should never be disturbed.

The school bus

I just finished reading The School Bus & couldn’t put it down. Kept my attention & wanting to keep reading. The only thing was the end felt like the story was unfinished. Skylar Morgan was a really good narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

What a great listen!

What an interesting storyline! There was no way I was going to pause this book prior to hearing the entire story!

I was captivated by both the story and the excellent narration.

I couldn’t have imagined the heartbeat quickening detail and accompanying intense narration from the title alone.

This is a must listen!

Well Written Spooky Story

This is a great story about how kids handle a bus accident when things just don't add up. Is there really something supernatural with this accident? Or is it just the vivid imagination of kids. If so then why are their questions which raise even more questions? Questions with no logical answer. Will they ever know for sure what really happened.

This is a well written, and superbly narrated by Skyler Morgan. Grab a copy for a fun listen

Death Reawakened

The School Bus is a creepy little story that is creative, descriptive and well written. Death has not met their quota after school children are killed in a violent bus crash. I truly enjoyed this short story and multitude of characters that learned a very valuable lesson a little too late. Skyler Morgan did an amazing job as the narrator giving the story a bit of life. This is my honest unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving of my own volition. I highly recommend this book it may not be total horror but it is definitely good. I received this book for free upon my request.

Great Short Listen

The School Bus was a really good short listen. The story came together quickly but still offered plot twists. I may have found a new male narrator in Skyler Morgan!

Creepy and kids go hand in hand

This was so damned creepy. Think stand by me but as a creepy and scary ghost story. A tragic bus accident leads to a string of deaths and disappearances that have a truly sinister origin. It’s hard to beat sinister, vindictive ghost kids for sheer creepiness. Really great quick listen. A must for horror fans. Would love to see this as a movie. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

Easy reading thriller!!!

I got this audiobook via a promo code and this is my voluntary review.

With so many unexpected turns and revelations in each chapter, this was a page turner.
The writing is concise and carefully written very creepy story, there is nothing creepier than ghost children.
I was impressed that the book's climax managed to pack a few more shocks after there had already been so many throughout the novel. Skyler Morgan, whose exce!lent performance helped drive the plot forward built up a fantastic pace. This was a really good thriller that keeps me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

I really liked this little supernatural story.

I didn’t expect this story to wrench at my heart strings, but it really did! I was both creeped out by the imagery throughout this book, as well as finding myself empathising with the characters. The length of the book was just right to give you a good story and to nicely finish off the plot.

Creepy ghost story

This book starts with a bang, a school bus crashes killing almost everyone, Then strange things start to happen. Richard McCrohan has written a very creepy story, there is nothing creepier than ghost children. The writing is excellent, with a series of shocking events interspersed with normality, the horror is works because it is mostly in your own imagination rather that graphically described.. I liked the group of school friends, good characters well described. Skyler Morgan does an excellent job with the narration giving the story real depth, Great voice. I received a complimentary copy from the narrator and am leaving a honest voluntary review

Solid story with a good narrator.

A good, solid story with a narrator who, with time, should become a great narrator. Well worth a listen.
