Lovely!

All around a great pleasure. Easily 5 stars. Rare for a book to take the reader through the seasons of life without loosing it’s way and becoming messy here or there. The Satisfaction Cafe has not one messy spot.

The reader was exceptional.

This story is not my type of story. The main character looks outward for meaning. Her life is chronicled on the page, but her life is not fulfilled. She lives for her pleasure and lacks depth of genuine character; that character that is built from walking in faith with the only One who can transform her.

Unique and lovely

The story is interesting and probes at real human emotions. I found all the characters unique and well realized. The narrator is terrific, too, just enough accent to be realistic without a caricature.

Unclear storyline

At the beginning, I was highly engaged in the Audible book. Midway through it felt like the author was throwing in storylines that were not part of the story written for this book, but mini stories needing to be told. The book was anticlimactic and quite flat.
