Not impressed
I really wanted to like this book but I felt it missed the mark. I didn’t think it had a purpose, I did not find it engaging, and I was underwhelmed at the end. The only really good thing about this book is that was short. I am sorry for the bad review but there are so many good books out there, I would not listen to this one.

Heartwarming and bittersweet
Simply put, the journal entries of a young woman maneuvering a failing relationship, complicated family dynamics and father diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Poignant moments nestle within lighthearted journal blurbs keeping it short, sweet but incredibly moving. (The dad's saved notes on the daughter's childhood had me welling up something fierce)

A refreshing book
Goodbye, Vitamin is a great book. It’s short but still feels like a rewarding listen. It’s about a girl who is moving back home, partially after a breakup, but also because her dad has dementia. It’s written in a journal format chronicling her time back home, struggling to figure things out in her life. That does make it hard to follow as an audiobook, because the story is told in short bursts, with quick scenes and asides about her life and family. Regardless, it’s very enjoyable to listen to!
