breathtakingly beautiful.

Wonderfully and intricately written. The characters are fully fleshed out and filled with powerful depth. The narrator adeptly breathes the final and complete life into an amazing work.
A warning however: because of the heavy and powerful emotions explored in this book (grief, loss etc) perhaps persons with more fragile mental states should be cautious.
All in all, a wonderful experience I cannot recommend highly enough.

good book. 1 minor pet peeve.

i read/ listen to many books from this author and like most of them. one pet peeve i guess i have against her is the need to abbreviate names, even short 3 letter names or something similar. we have nick names for each other in real life for people we are around, but not for every single person in our lives.

I loved this story. The story could’ve stood on its own it’s that good. It was exciting and mesmerizing. Hard to “put down”. I am going to look for other books by this author. Mixing a love story with a stand alone story. The narrator was great too. He brought the story to life.

Tragic, exciting, and sexy

Harper Fox is one of my favorites, with her lyrical prose and endearing characters. This is a heavy story, and I'm not sure the ending is pitch-perfect with it's somewhat incongruous weirdness, but the book certainly delivers deep relationships and hot sexy scenes. The narrator did a fantastic job! He didn't just read, he acted the story, giving each character and moment life.

Another wow

I love that this book is a legitimate story that is also a romance. The story was intriguing and the passion felt real. And Hamish Long... woah. He can narrate. This is a must listen.

This.was a most aggressive book. the narrative great. the story line simply marvelous great performance, absolutely loved it.

Inventive story line

Even on the third listen I found this story fascinating. The MC is wound tight, but there's reason. The beauty and invention of the story shines above. Narration is perfect.

Great book

The narrator was outstanding, I could not stop for 8hrs ! I was at the place it occurred, I felt the death and all the incredible love making

Pleasantly surprise. New to me author, I picked up mostly because of the narrator. (his accent is so delicious)
The story has Love x2, grief, conspiracy, twist, and turns everywhere. Kept me engaged all through.
I will definitely grab another read by this author.

Good story - wonderful reader

Very entertaining story - and a reader with a voice to fall in love with!
