Publisher's summary

Contrary to her dearest wish to find a safe place and stay there, Major Tanya von Degurechaff continues to wade through the fog of war with her troops on land, at sea, and in the air. After many battles with the increasingly numerous enemies of the Empire, a chance for a breakthrough finally appears. But when her comrades begin celebrating the glories they've reaped, savoring the sweet nectar of imminent triumph, Tanya alone is frozen in fear. Has the Empire decisively won the war, or is this nothing more than a Pyrrhic victory?

Anime explained and prolonged

Again going more deep so one can understand anime events more. All in all very well written and narrated.

Bring back book 1 narrator

I'm too bothered by the lack of Vol.1 narrator. I'm trying to push through listening purely out of my adoration of the series. I tell myself "Do it for Tanya.

More detailed the movie

If you watched the movie, they skim through this part of the story more as a joke when it comes to the desert battles, I can understand but is nice to have it expanded upon.

Got our introduction to a character that is in the movie, funnily named, and look forward to seeing what happens as we wait for the season 2 anime adaptation to come out.

Excellent book. Solid performance.

I wish the first book had this voice acting. Very easy to listen to. The story continues to grow ever grander, as well.

I love the story but please no morality lesson at the end

Look, we already purchased your book on audible I don’t want or need a lesson on piracy. It’s insulting to have you waving your finger at my face telling me “hey purchase books! It’s how people continue to write!” at the end of a book I’ve already purchased. I can promise you the target of your message will never listen to it. So stop insulting your PAYING consumers with these little tongue in cheek messages.

Better every time

Each book gets progressivly better and the narration is the best or of all the current light novels. what more can you ask for?

Pretty good

Still a solid voice acting work and story, but I was annoyed that Tanya didn’t try to further explain her thinking in attacking brest navel base. It felt like an idiot ball for the sake of the plot.

Couldn’t finish

I tried listing from chapter 1 to 4 five times. I couldn’t understand the story thoroughly with the monotone of the narrator.

For instance, the side story of Republic mage carried the wines to the front lines. I could hardly distinguished which character was speaking. The all sounded the same. The yelling were the most annoying ones, they all sounded the same regardless of who was speaking, and the weird accent made it worse.

I tried my best to finished book 2 but i think I’ll stop here, get my money refunded and go back to read a kindle version.
